This work for solo guitar aims to pay tribute to the Mexican composer Manuel María Ponce Cuéllar, one of the most important artists of Mexican music of the first half of the twentieth century. Created in three movements, each of these explores different aspects of Ponce's style, mainly inspired by the Suite in A minor for guitar.
